CONDITIONS OFRESERVATION AND CANCELLATION

Château Le Méjean is open all year round. Our room rates vary according to the season:

 

- Low season: October to April

- High season: May to September

 

The rates include a room for two people, breakfast for two people, and the tourist tax which amounts to €0.44 per person and per day.


ROOMS AND/OR EVENT

Please note that any reservation request will only be effective after confirmation from the owners. A request made from the website does not in any way confirm the availability of the room and/or premises at the desired times and dates.

 

At Le Méjean, we do not require a minimum length of stay.

​

Our rooms are at your disposal on your arrival from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m., departure being made at 11 a.m. at the latest.

​

The responsibility of the owner will not be engaged in the event of loss or theft of personal objects of the customers, during the stay of the latter.

​

Equipment for newborns and children is available on request (high chair, cot, etc.).

​

PAYMENT

​

We accept cash and checks (upon presentation of a valid ID).

​

ADVANCE PAYMENT

​

The reservation becomes effective after our confirmation and once the customer has sent a deposit of 30% of the total amount of the stay and/or event.


CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER

For the bedrooms:

​

If the cancellation occurs more than 48 hours before the start of the stay: the deposit is refunded to the customer.

If the cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before the start of the stay: the deposit remains acquired by the owner.

Unless otherwise agreed, if the customer does not appear before 7 p.m. on the day scheduled for the start of the stay, the stay becomes void and the owner can dispose of his rooms. The deposit remains acquired by the owner.

In the event of a shortened stay, the total price of the stay remains acquired by the owner.

For events:

​

If the cancellation occurs more than three weeks before the start of the event: the deposit is refunded to the customer.

IF the cancellation occurs less than three weeks before the start of the event: the deposit remains acquired by the owner.

Unless otherwise agreed, if the customer does not show up three weeks before the scheduled date of the event, the event becomes void and the owner can dispose of his rooms and premises. The deposit remains acquired by the owner.

In the event of an event and/or a shortened stay, the total price of the event and/or stay remains acquired by the owner.


CANCELLATION BY THE OWNER

If the owner has to cancel the stay and/or the event, he must notify the client either by email or by registered letter. The customer will be reimbursed immediately for the sums he had paid beforehand.

USE OF PREMISES

​

The customer must respect the peaceful and family character of the place. He undertakes to return the rooms and premises in good condition and to compensate the owner if there is any breakage.
​

ANIMALS

​

Pets are not accepted.

​

In the event of breach of these conditions, the owner reserves the right to request financial compensation from the customer.
