BOOKING & CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

Château Le Méjean is open all year round. Our room rates vary according to the season: 

- Low season : From October to April 
- High season : From May to September 

Rates include a room for two people, a breakfast for two, and the tourist tax which is 0.44 € per person per day.

ROOMS AND/OR EVENT 

Please note that any reservation request will only be effective after confirmation from the owners. A request made from the website does not confirm the availability of the room and/or premises at the desired times and dates. 

At Le Méjean, we do not require a minimum length of stay.  


Our rooms are at your disposal on your arrival from 4 p.m. (16h) to 9 p.m. (21h), the departure is at the latest at 11 a.m. (11h).

 

The owner will not be held responsible in case of loss or theft of personal objects of the customer, during the stay of the latter.

 

Material for newborn and child is available on request (high chair, cot. . . ).

PAYMENT 

We accept payments in cash and by check (upon presentation of a valid ID).

ACOMPTE 

The reservation becomes effective after our confirmation, and as soon as the customer will have made a deposit of 30% of the total amount  of the stay and/or the event.

CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER 

For the rooms : 

If the cancellation occurs more than 48 hours before the beginning of the stay: the deposit is refunded to the client. 
If the cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before the beginning of the stay: the deposit remains acquired by the owner. 
Unless otherwise agreed, if the client does not show up before 7 pm on the day of arrival, the stay becomes null and void and the owner  may dispose of his rooms. The down payment remains acquired by the owner. 
In case of shortened stay, the total price of the stay remains acquired by the owner. 

For events : 

If the cancellation occurs more than three weeks before the beginning of the event: the deposit is refunded to the client. 
If the cancellation occurs less than three weeks before the beginning of the event: the deposit remains acquired by the owner. 
Unless otherwise agreed, if the client does not show up three weeks before the scheduled date of the event, the event becomes void  and the owner may dispose of his rooms and premises. The down payment remains acquired by the owner. 
In case of an event and/or shortened stay, the total price of the event and/or stay remains acquired by the owner. 

CANCELLATION BY OWNER 

If the owner must cancel the stay and/or the event, he must inform the customer either by email or by registered letter. The customer will be reimbursed immediately for the amounts he had previously paid. 

USE OF PREMISES 

The client must respect the peaceful and family character of the premises. He undertakes to return the rooms and premises in good condition and to compensate the owner if there is any breakage. 

ANIMALS 

Pets are not allowed. 

In the event of breach of these conditions, the owner reserves the right to claim financial compensation from the customer.
